Our facility offers all modalities and areas of diagnostic radiology.
Computerized Tomography (CT SCAN) – A procedure that creates detailed images of your body’s internal organs. It assists in diagnosing tumors, fractures, bone structures, and infections in the organs and tissues.
Bone Density Scan (DEXA) – An enhanced form of x-ray technology to measure bone loss. Recommended every 2 years.
Ultrasounds – High-frequency sound waves evaluate organs in the body. Commonly used to examine fetal development.
Echocardiogram – A test that uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart. The picture is far more detailed than a traditional x-ray and involves no radiation exposure.
Vascular Studies – An ultrasound technology used to assess the flow of blood in arteries and veins in the arms, legs, and neck.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) – A medical imaging technique that uses a magnetic field and computer-generated radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues in your body
General Routine Exams – Includes all types of general x-rays including fluoroscopy studies.
Nuclear Medicine – A process where small amounts of radioactive materials called radiotracers are injected into the blood stream, inhaled, or swallowed. The radiotracer travels through the area being examined and gives off energy in the form of gamma rays which are detected by a special camera and computer to create images of the inside of the body.
3D Mammography – An imaging test that combines multiple breast x-rays to create a three-dimensional picture of the breast. A yearly exam is recommended.
